Don’s music career started at the age of 13 when he began drumming in a hardcore band called Forensik in San Diego. Forensik opened for several national bands including Pepper, Guttermouth, Agent 51, and Hornswaggled. He has played just about every genre of music including rock, hip hop, jazz, funk, metal, hardcore, & swing.
When he moved to Houston in 2008, Don joined local favorite, Via Linda. Before their breakup in 2010, the band was played on 94.5 The Buzz and performed at venues like Scout Bar, Warehouse Live, Jet Lounge, the Meridian, etc.
After the dissolution of Via Linda, Don decided to move away from bands and now drums and DJs at clubs and events. As a DJ, he plays house, top40s, old-school rap (among other things), in addition to original mashups and live remixes. As a drummer, Don teams up with DJs, remixing beats on the fly, adding a shot of live energy to an otherwise electronic medium.
